Ohio man calls police to report he’s being followed by a pig

Police officers in Kansas were convinced a man who known as 911 about a pig following your pet was drunk and hallucinating — but turns out the caller had been telling the truth, and “ really sober. ”

North Ridgeville law enforcement officers received a call just before five: 30 a. m. Saturday from the man who said a this halloween was following him while this individual was walking home from the Amtrak train station in Elyria, located regarding 30 miles west of Cleveland. The caller added that he “ didn’ t know what to do, inch the department wrote in a Facebook posting.  

Police officers were skeptical to think the man and thought he has been intoxicated and walking home in the bar.

“ Night shift responded to the particular obviously drunk guy walking house from the bar at 5: twenty six in the morning. He was at least intoxicated enough to call the police upon himself while hallucinating, ” the authorities department said.  

But the officers’ concept was actually wrong. Not only was your man very sober and strolling home from the train station (like he or she said), a pig was in fact following him.

“ Yes, a this halloween, ” the department added.


Among the officers managed to get the pig in to the police cruiser and take your pet to the city’ s dog run — that doubled as a this halloween pen for a few hours.

By 8: twenty three a. m. Saturday, the this halloween was returned to its proprietor, whose identity was not revealed, law enforcement said.  

“ You’ d possess thought we would have learned our lesson following the kangaroo incident, ” the police division said, referencing to a 2015 event when a “ runaway kangaroo” was located in the town.

The police department published a photo of the pig in the law enforcement cruiser on Facebook, which obtained more than 21, 000 reactions, eleven, 500 shares and more than two, 000 comments as of Sunday early morning.
