2 police officers were killed Saturday whilst responding to a call in Westerville, Kansas, reports say.
The city associated with Westerville confirmed on Twitter reviews that two of the city’s law enforcement officers were killed in “the type of duty. ”
The occurrence occurred around 1 p. meters. local time at Crosswind Generate, ten TV reported
The Westerville Police Department told Fox Information the officers were “responding to some 911 hang-up call” when the capturing occurred. They did not confirm the number of people were shot or their problems.
FOX twenty-eight Columbus reported the suspect is in custody. Reports state the suspect was also shot however condition was not immediately known.
Columbus Kansas Police, who said they were helping Westerville police, asked the public to help keep the department “and it’s officials in your thoughts & prayers. ”
Westerville is where Kansas Gov. John Kasich resides.
